Home…where your heart is and where you want to stay!
Are you finding it more and more challenging to complete your daily chores of cooking, bathing and keeping your home clean? Let us help you! Our staff is well trained and has big hearts for offering assistance to the elderly and disabled while helping them maintain their independence. Leaving home is hard for anyone so we want to make sure our clients are able to remain in theirs as long as possible. Our program offers needed support for our community members who are vulnerable to falls, sickness, unclean living conditions and poor hygiene.
Since 2007, Tennessee Community Services Agency has provided services to hundreds of elderly and disabled clients through our At Home Support Services program. The goal of our program is to keep our clients in their own homes while providing them with a safe, clean and nurturing environment. Some of our clients may only need help with the housework and that is perfectly fine. We provide only the services you need, when you need them. Others may have difficulty with bathing or dressing…things that so many of us take for granted. Our staff will professionally and lovingly provide personal care services to those who can use some assistance. Having trouble driving due to health issues or because the weather is bad? That is yet another service the At Home Support Services program offers. Let us do your driving for you! We can go grocery shopping for you and pick up your prescriptions all without you ever leaving your home.

The Tennessee Community Services Agency is fortunate to contract with United Health Care, Volunteer State Health Plan (B/C B/S) and the First Tennessee Area Agency on Aging and Disability to allow us to provide the following services:
Personal Care: bathing (tub or bed bath), dressing assistance, skin and nail care, foot or mouth care and hair care.
Homemaking: mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of bathrooms and kitchen, trash removal and running errands (grocery shopping and/or prescription pickup).
Respite Services: time spent with clients in order to provide primary caregivers time to fulfill other obligations. For example, a caregiver may need to travel for work or may become ill and need surgery. Caregivers can leave the home knowing that their loved one is being cared for.
These services are available to clients 24 hours each day and 365 days a year.
There may only be a temporary need for services and those can be authorized as well. For instance, if a client has the choice of coming to their own home after a hospital visit or going to an in-patient facility in order to gain their strength back, the most desired option may be to have one of our staff from our At Home Support Services program provide assistance for the client in their own home while they recuperate.
Services may be authorized for a long term basis, increasing as the client’s needs change.
Many of our clients have been with us since the At Home Support Services program started in July 2007. Our staff does a wonderful job in caring for our client while meeting their needs and expectations. Please consider allowing us to assist you!
