Tennessee Community Services Agency was created by the General Assembly for the purpose of meeting the needs of individuals, families and communities by coordinating and providing services across Tennessee. Since we are not direct recipients of tax payer funds, contracts (either directly or through RFP's) are our means to serving the populace. With our unique status as a political subdivision and instrumentality of the State, we have a great opportunity when it comes to contracting with Departments of State government. Departments can contract with the CSA by simple contract negotiation without having to go through any of the RFP or announcement of funds processes. Rules promulgated by the Department of Finance and Administration reinforce this relationship and allow for direct contract negotiation with the CSA. Many departments have found this to be a much more convenient, efficient, timely and cost-effective manner of implementing programs. TNCSA sits at the ready to assist any Department of State government to implement their programs. Give us a call for more information at 731-884-2640.
For groups outside of state government, we can respond just as quickly and effectively for you. Contracting with the CSA is easy. Our Board of Directors supports the Administration of the CSA in reaching out to communities across Tennessee to fill gaps in services, start up new programs, or provide structure and accountability to an existing program. We are here to help. Contact us to see how we may be able to work together.
